A long wheelbase van is more likely to have a high roof, so you'll get to stand up in the van without banging your head quite so often!
For a one-bedroom flat move, a long wheelbase van may be big enough. It depends on how much furniture and how many white goods you need to move. Often less bother than a box van with a tail lift as you can easily jump in and out without waiting for the lift! Watch out for the bollards at pavement corners as this is where most damage occurs. Take corners nice and wide.
