The most popular type of rental van for small house removals is the box tail lift, also called a Luton. These vans have box bodies which sit above the van's wheels, so they are completely square, without any wheel arches or other intrusions. Box vans also offer a little extra width compared to a panel van, but sit higher than a panel van meaning access is almost limited by use, and speed, of the tail lift. If a low loader box is offered as a substitute, consider that you only have to step into one, rather than wait for the lift.
